Depending on conditions, the rig we use the most is a very simple one. On your main line, put a slip sinker, bead and stop knot up about 4 inches.  Then just tie your hook on with a palomar knot.  The more swivels and knots you use equates out to something more that will go wrong when you do catch that big one!  So keep it simple is the best motto..
