Willie Buedel Memorial Classic held October 6th & & 7th are as follows:

First Place with a weight of 69 lbs. 11oz. went to Josh Young and Kris Swan.
Second Place went to Bob Hibbs and Greg Severe weighing in 62 lbs. 1 oz.
Doug and Julie Rice took third place with a weight of 61 lbs 2 oz.
Joe Lutke and Jerry Cline came in fourth with a catch of 54 lbs. 15 oz.
Big fish of the event weighed 13 lbs. 9 oz. and was caught by John Fifer and Bob Becker.

The 2007 Lake Springfield Open Buddy Catfish Tournament Series awards banquet will be held
Sunday October 21st at the Bridgeview Beach Building with dinner being served around noon.
The awards ceremony will immediately follow.
All participants and their guests are invited to attend.

September 15, 2007 are as follows:

Bryan Espy and Al Mittelsteadt took first place with a weight of 37 lbs. 4 oz.
Second place with a weight of 36 lbs. was Bob Hibbs and Greg Severe.
Third Place went to Josh Young and Kris Swan with a weight of 34 lbs. 10 oz.
Jake Hohimer and Brandon Grippi place fourth with a weight of 32 lb. 15 oz.
Big Fish was caught by Mark Bozarth and Johnny Sidener and weighed 11 lbs. 13 oz.

Saturday August 11, 2007 are as follows:

First place with the winning weight of 36 lbs. 5 oz. was Ernie and Ken "Ivan" McLaughlin.
Larry Bumgardner and Steve Tweed took second place with a weight of 35 lbs. 11 oz.
Third place weighing in 31 lbs. 15 oz. went to Bryan Espy and Shawn Trudeau.
Mark Bozarth and Johnny Sidener finished fourth with a weight of 31 lbs. 14 oz.
Big Fish was a 23 lb. 12 oz. bluecat and was caught by Bumgardner and Tweed.
The next and last tournament of the series is scheduled for Saturday, September 15. Sign up no later than 5:15 at the Lindsey Bridge boat ramp. The Willie Buedel Memorial Classic is scheduled for October 6th & 7th. For more information call Willie and 629-7915.

Saturday July 14, 2007 are as follows

First place with a record tournament weight of 73 lbs. 13 oz. was Bill Parfitt and Jason Rath.
Second place weighing in 37 lbs. 2 oz. was Ray and Rick Booth.
Ernie Nudo and Ivan McLaughlin took third place with a weight of 31 lbs. 3 oz.
Fourth place went to Greg Severe and Bob Hibbs with a weight of 27 lbs. 14 oz.
Big fish of the night went to Bill Parfitt and Jason Rath with a 44 lbs. 8 oz bluecat.
43 boats competed.

Riverton anglers capture first place at the Annual Redneck Carp Tournament. (How's that?)

The TeamWhiskers boat piloted by Willie Schrader and crew consisting of George Hurst, Ryan "Backwoods" Dodd, Tony Rock and Adam Bartko dip netted 48 silver carp to capture this years' Annual Redneck Carp Tournament at Bath. This years event featured four, 2 hour heats over 2 days with over 150(?) boats participating. The team netted all of their fish in the second heat on Saturday.

Saturday June 23rd are as follows:

First Place went to Josh Young and Kris Swan with a weight of 37 lbs. 13 oz.
Second place with a weight of 29 lbs. 7 oz. went to Mark Trudeau and Doug Walters.
A tie for third and fourth place both weighing in 29 lbs 4 oz. went to the teams of Jerad Woosley and Ryan Dodd and Chad and John Hughes.
Big fish weighed 10 lbs. 15 oz. and was caught by Mark Trudeau and Doug Walters.

The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday July 14th with sign in no later than 5:00 PM at the Lindsey Bridge boat ramp. Tournament hours are from 6:00 PM until 12:30 AM
