Lake Springfield Open Buddy Catfish Tournament Series

Windy and rough conditions didn't discourage 40 boats from participating and bringing 620 lbs. of catfish to the scale in this tournament.

The results of the Lake Springfield Open Buddy Catfish Tournament held Saturday May 22, 2004 are as follows:

First Place - 33 lbs. 1 oz.
Jack and Brian Mitchon

Second Place - 32 lbs. 15 oz.
Jim Barber and Chris Kuchar

Third Place - 30 lbs. 6 oz.
Ed Verardi and Loren Killen

Big Fish - 10 lbs. 11 oz.
Bill Blankenship and Rusty Rutherford


The next tournament will be Saturday June 12, 2004. All of our tournament are sanctioned Cabela's King Kat Classic qualifiers. The hours are 6 PM until 1:30 AM. The entry fee remains the same at $40 per boat and always guaranteed a good time. Need more information? Call me at 217-629-7915.
